The National Institute of Aeronautics and Space (LAPAN) was an Indonesian government agency responsible for advancing national aerospace and space technology. LAPAN played a key role in satellite research, earth observation, rocket development, and space policy. Since 2021, its functions have been integrated into the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN).
