About Project

The Seafarer Registration and Certification Management System was developed to streamline the administrative processes of maritime education and training at Bina Sena Maritime Training Center. As a maritime training institution that delivers various certification programs based on the Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping (STCW), Bina Sena required an integrated digital platform to manage participant registration, trainee records, and certification administration more efficiently.

For this project, Codenesia built a web-based management system that enables prospective trainees to register online while providing administrators with centralized tools to manage participant information and certification-related processes. The platform is designed to organize trainee records, support document verification, and simplify the administration required throughout the training lifecycle. Online registration forms, participant data management, and certification administration are key components that contribute to more efficient operational workflows.

By digitizing registration and certification management, the system helps reduce manual administrative work while improving data organization and operational consistency. It also provides a more convenient registration experience for prospective trainees and supports Bina Sena's ongoing digital transformation in delivering professional maritime education and training services.

Who is The Client

Bina Sena Maritime Training Center is an Indonesian maritime education and training institution established in 1989. The organization provides a wide range of maritime training and certification programs that comply with the Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping (STCW) and its amendments. In addition to operating as a maritime training center, Bina Sena also serves as a Recognized Security Organization (RSO), supporting port and ship security in accordance with the International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code.

Managing numerous training programs and certification activities requires efficient administrative processes and accurate participant records. Implementing a dedicated registration and certification management system enables Bina Sena to organize trainee data, simplify registration workflows, and manage certification administration through a centralized platform. This digital solution supports more efficient operations while helping the institution deliver professional services to prospective and existing maritime trainees.
